You are being invited to take part in a research study conducted by Harry Dunn within the KV6013 Undergraduate Individual Project module at Northumbria University.

What will happen: You will be shown 16 pairs of images. For each pair, you will be asked to identify which image appears to have been digitally modified, or indicate if you cannot tell the difference.
Anonymity: Your responses are completely anonymous. No personal data is collected beyond your responses and automatically recorded timestamps.
Withdrawal: You may close this page at any time before submitting to withdraw. Once submitted, your data cannot be withdrawn due to the anonymous nature of collection.

This study investigated the human perceptual detectability of AI-powered image steganography — the practice of hiding secret messages within images using deep learning.
